Song of the Week
Bible verse and Reflection
1 John chapter 4 verse 16:
“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.”
1 Corinthians chapter 13 verses 4 to 8
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
As we read in the verses from 1 John, God is love and if God is love then we can replace the word love to God in 1 Corinthians.
Read 1 Corinthians but replace the word 'love' with 'God'. Is this a God you want to know?
What does love look like in your life?
Have you ever known the love of God?
Prayer
God I thank you that you are a God who loves us. Help me to know the love that you give, the love described in 1 Corinthians. Amen.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

5. EAT!! Yum
Journal Tip
The Journal tip this week is to write down what love means to you. You can write down some things that make you feel loved. Use 1 Corinthians to help you. For example: I feel loved when I know I am protected and safe.
